Cleaning With Power

I have to say, one of my favorite things to do as a Mom is clean with my children. Today Jaron was more than eager to help clean, putting on our "glubs" to "protect us", and washing everything in sight with Windex!

We spend an hour cleaning up, vacuuming, dusting, washing windows, even the toilet which he was more than happy to do!

It was cleaning with power because the power of influence is beyond anything else that can come from a toy or a movie. It was real life and real fun!

In the middle of it Jaron says "mom, we have to swing around and dance sometimes while we clean" So we even did some dancing. 

I think there are so many great things out there to help us teach our children and "Entertain" them. But let us not forget that we have so much power to influence our children that the simplest of things can be great fun. 

Start them young- I like to start them out with the  Barney song, "clean up, clean up..." as we pick up out room, the toys, or anything for that matter.
